Managing Attorney and Senior Partner Andrew Liput has been an attorney in New York and New Jersey for more than 22 years. He served as general counsel to various companies, specializing in business and corporate law, before working in the mortgage banking industry as a senior vice president and general counsel to a large regional lender. In that capacity he developed an expertise in employment and contract law, and lender issues, such as regulatory, compliance, investor relations, industry contracts and agreements, and mortgage fraud detection and loss mitigation strategies.
Mr. Liput has written numerous articles for industry publications such as The Mortgage Press, Secondary Market Investor, Mortgage Banking and others. He hosts a nationally-known financial industry blog which can be accessed by a link on our home page, speaks at mortgage conferences on industry issues, and as an innovator designed and implemented a unique program to address fraud at mortgage and real estate closings nationwide.
Mr. Liput taught business and employment law for almost 15 years at universities in New York, New Jersey and North Carolina. He has been invited to train and lecture to corporations all over the Northeast, and has conducted specialized workplace anti-discrimination training for almost 10,000 employees. He recently authored the book "Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Your RIghts in the Workplace," published by Xlibris in 2009.
Andrew Liput specializes in handling matters involving corporate, employment, contracts, banking, mortgage lending, and legal issues involving the operation of businesses in those industries. Attorney Andrew Hallajian, Esq. has been a real estate and consumer litigation attorney for most of his 18 year career and formerly served as an assistant legal counsel at a large regional mortgage bank. He is recognized for his expertise in complex commercial litigation. He also has handled many foreclosure defense cases on behalf of consumers and predatory lending litigation, having represented both banks and consumers.
Gregory Feldman, Esq. acts as of counsel to the firm. He has nearly 25 years experience in real estate law and complex civil litigation. As counsel to Fairleigh Dickinson University for almost two decades, he has represented the college in various legal matters impacting the administration and students there. He is a former councilman in North Plainfield, NJ.
Michael Gliottone is the former owner of a mortgage bank, with almost 15 years experience in banking and regulatory matters. He uses his experience to assist the lawyers and clients of LLO with all aspects of bank related issues, including regulatory and licensing issues, mortgage fraud investigation (including the re-underwriting and auditing of loan files) and the preparation of consumer fraud and predatory lending litigation matters.
Fred Stringham, has more than 10 year's experience in banking and finance. He uses his knowledge to assist the lawyers and clients of LLO with all aspects of bank related issues, including regulatory and licensing issues, mortgage fraud investigation (including the re-underwriting and auditing of loan files) and the preparation of consumer fraud and predatory lending litigation matters
Betty Rodriguez is a paralegal with more than 20 years experience working at major law firms around the metropolitan New Jersey area before settling in with LLO. She has offered litigation support services and assists in client case intake and status coordination on all consumer legal matters. She is fluent in Spanish and is a valuable member of the LLO legal and support staff team.
